Is Psicofactu compliant with Spain's VeriFactu invoicing law?
Yes. VeriFactu (Royal Decree 1007/2023, developed by Order HAC/1177/2024) requires invoicing software to produce tamper-proof, hash-chained billing records with QR codes. Psicofactu generates these records today, publishes its responsible declaration on its website, and applies the Spanish healthcare VAT exemption (article 20.Uno.3º of the Spanish VAT law) that covers clinical psychology sessions. VeriFactu becomes mandatory on 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for self-employed professionals.
Is Psicofactu GDPR compliant?
Yes. Clinical data is encrypted at field level with AES-256-GCM, all servers and AI processing run in the European Union, AI calls use Zero Data Retention with automatic pseudonymisation of personal identifiers, and every AI interaction is audit-logged. Psicofactu publishes its DPIA, its article 28 data-processing agreement and its sub-processor list, and patients sign a specific consent before any AI processing of their data.
