Is Psicofactu compliant with Spain's VeriFactu invoicing law?
Yes. VeriFactu (Royal Decree 1007/2023, developed by Order HAC/1177/2024) requires invoicing software to produce tamper-proof, hash-chained billing records with QR codes. Psicofactu has built this system and runs it in preparatory mode (the QR code and direct submission to the tax agency switch on when the obligation becomes enforceable), publishes its responsible declaration on its website, and applies the Spanish healthcare VAT exemption (article 20.Uno.3º of the Spanish VAT law) that covers clinical psychology sessions. On 5 October 2026 the Spanish Ministry of Finance announced that VeriFactu will be postponed to October 2028; the official date still has to be closed, as it is not yet published in the official gazette (formally, 1 January 2027 for companies and 1 July 2027 for self-employed professionals remain in force).
Is Psicofactu GDPR compliant?
Yes. Clinical content is encrypted at field level with AES-256-GCM; data is hosted and AI is processed in the European Union; Azure OpenAI calls are not used to train models and run with conversation storage disabled; personal identifiers are automatically pseudonymised, and every AI interaction is audit-logged. Psicofactu publishes its DPIA, its article 28 data-processing agreement and its sub-processor list, and patients sign a specific consent before any AI processing of their data.
